The Tactical CZ MG5 bipod is a modern bipod designed primarily for very heavy and high-powered firearms. Compared to standard Tactical Evo bipods, it offers features and design details that take stability, reliability, and user comfort to a higher level.
The MG5 model was developed in cooperation with a foreign firearms manufacturer and is based on the extremely popular and proven TK4 6.5–9" COMBAT platform. It retains the key strengths of this series – top-grade materials, perfect workmanship, and reliable function under all circumstances – and adds upgrades that make the MG5 an even more versatile and durable solution.

The main innovation of the Tactical CZ MG5 model is a modernized cant system with a bearing, which provides smoother operation and higher durability under load. In addition, the locking system has been redesigned – the original lever is replaced by a practical clamping knob, making adjustment faster and more precise. The third major improvement is a new mechanism for changing the leg positions. Repositioning the legs forward/backward is now significantly easier, requires only minimal force, and can literally be done with two fingers. The same “quick handling” principle applies across the entire Tactical Evo bipod (leg) design line – in an emergency, the bipod can be fully operated with just two fingers of one hand. These innovations take an already exceptional bipod to a whole new level.
Pressure cant and integrated extended WEAVER rail
The Tactical CZ MG5 bipod is equipped as standard with a pressure cant function and an extended WEAVER rail integrated directly into the joint body. Pressure cant means you can cant the bipod laterally simply by applying pressure – without time-consuming loosening and tightening, which is especially useful for quick leveling of the rifle on uneven terrain. The extended WEAVER rail also expands accessory mounting options and provides more space for compatible add-ons.
The system allows firm and secure locking of the horizontal pin, which will not loosen even when firing very powerful calibers (up to cal. 50). At the same time, it offers the option to set the lock so that it can be smoothly “overridden” – allowing fine cant corrections without time-consuming loosening and tightening. The force required to change the cant can be easily adjusted using the locking knob, so you can fine-tune the feel precisely to your shooting style and field conditions.
A key part of the pressure cant is the bearing, which ensures smooth and consistent operation. Thanks to it, the system can be set for absolute lock-up as well as for a mode in which the lock can be smoothly overcome and aim can be continuously corrected. The result is faster weapon handling and more confident control on uneven terrain.
The bipod is easily adjustable on all axes and allows precise, stable setting of the point of aim according to the shooter’s current needs. The patented horizontal pin locking system guarantees that the bipod will not loosen even when firing large calibers (up to cal. .50). The legs feature a five-position, stepped extension system, and their innovative “H”-shaped profile ensures extreme durability, high torsional rigidity, and self-cleaning capability.
The Tactical CZ MG5 bipod is fully adjustable and enables precise adjustment on all axes: smooth movement and locking of the “head” within a range of ±20° (right/left), leg positioning forward within 45° and rearward within 45° and 90°, and five-position stepped leg extension within 140–230 mm (5.511–9.055 in).
Every movement is maximally precise, consistent, and repeatable – exactly as required for tactical and demanding tasks as well as shooting in variable conditions.
As standard, the bipod is fitted with HARD feet intended for use on hard surfaces (concrete, ice, etc.), but they can also be used effectively on unpaved ground. An additional premium feature is a WEAVER rail enabling mounting of external accessories (e.g., a battery, a grip handle, etc.).
The construction is made from the highest-grade aircraft aluminum, and the overall workmanship is at a top level. Individual parts are milled on modern CNC machines, ensuring high manufacturing precision, long service life, and perfect fit.
